pI was pleased to read the article by Abraham Kenmore in the Jan. 5 edition of the Watertown Daily Times (“Congressional contender reflects”)./ppI had met Tedra Cobb last summer during her campaign efforts and found her to be a kind, caring and sincere congressional candidate./ppShe impressed me so that I researched and read as much as I could find about her./ppAnd the more I read, the more impressed I became./ppWhen I began to read the excellent article by Mr. Abraham — which was well written, fair and very informative — I was so pleased to be learning more about Ms. Cobb and her future plans./ppBut then much to my shock and dismay, right out of the blue, there appeared a quoted paragraph from Lenny Alcivar, U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik’s campaign spokesman./ppThe entire paragraph was extremely mean spirited, bellicose and confrontational! Furthermore, all of his claims were untrue./ppMs. Stefanik, in her victory speech, promised to work for all of us here in NY-21, yet she allowed her spokesman to spew this hateful, mudslinging rhetoric that is insulting and repugnant to thousands upon thousands of us in her congressional district./ppPoll after poll has shown that most Americans want Congress to put country …read more
