Fifth defendant sentenced in Pamelia killing

pWATERTOWN — The mother of Tyler Johnson was again in court on Friday to see the last five of codefendants get sent off to prison for the murder of her son./ppBut Jenna Johnson and her family still don’t feel they got justice./ppThe grief over his violent death will be with them for their rest of their lives, she told Judge Kim H. Martusewicz on Friday./ppIt’s like “a weight is on our chest that we have to live with,” she said. /ppDevin H. Davis, 25, was among five co-defendants involved in the shooting death of Mr. Johnson, 20, on May 18, 2017. Davis was sentenced on Friday to 18 years in state prison and five years post-release supervision./ppMrs. Johnson doesn’t know how the five defendants could enter her son’s home and murder him while he was playing video games. They planned on robbing him and went to his home with loaded guns, she said./pp“Every day in the morning, we remember Tyler was murdered,” she said./ppDavis was the only defendant who cooperated with police.
