High school soccer: Belleville Henderson’s Sugden, Maloney make college choices

BH’s Sugden, Maloney to sign letters of intent

BELLEVILLE — Hannah Sugden and Brady Maloney will sign their letters of intent today to attend college and play soccer at the collegiate level.

Both signings will take place in the school’s auditorium at 2:30 p.m.

A senior, Sugden will attend Division II Pace University, which is located in Westchester County, to play soccer.

Sugden led the Frontier League in assists (23) and finished second in the league in goals scored (32) and points (87) in leading the Panthers to a second-place finish in the league’s “D” Division.

Maloney, a senior, will attend Division III Utica College in the fall and hopes to major in construction management.

Maloney led the Frontier League in points (48) and finished tied for the goal-scoring lead (21) as Belleville Henderson shared the “D” Division’s regular-season title and went on to win its first division playoff title since 1996.
