Woman testifies about the day Nichole Walters, Trooper Davis were killed

pWATERTOWN — On the day that her friend Nichole V. Walters and a state trooper were killed in July 2017, a woman had to duck for cover when bullets started flying through a shed where she was living, the woman testified Tuesday./ppRebecca Finkle was inside the wood shed when her friend’s 3-year-old son, Axel, showed up at the door alone and wearing just a towel before letting him inside, she testified during the Justin Walters murder trial in Jefferson County Court./ppThe next thing she knew she heard the sounds of bullets and she had to take cover when the shed was getting shot up, she said./pp“I grabbed the kids to protect them,” she testified./ppMs. Finkle, her fiance Mark and two children were living inside the shed for almost a year on the property owned by Walters and his 27-year-old wife, Nichole./ppWhen District Attorney Kristyna S.
